InstinctWave commences second edition of Nigeria CFO’s Awards
Still basking in the success of the maiden edition of the first ever Nigeria Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Awards, InstinctWave, organizers of MarketingWorld Awards has announced that preparation is in full gear towards a successful second edition of Nigeria CFO Awards.
Speaking at the press conference on the commencement of second edition of CFO Award, Chief Executive Officer, InstinctWave, Mr. Akin Naphtal said Nigeria CFO Awards will continue to showcase excellence and brilliance in finance management.
The award’s organisaer said, second edition of Nigeria CFO Award is scheduled to hold on the 19th of November, 2016 at the posh Oriental Hotel Lekki Lagos saying, there are new developments as this year’s event as it will celebrate more financial experts in the public sector.
According to him, “Nigeria CFO Awards will again honour exceptional top financial executives in our country who have helped their companies reach enviable heights. These executives have also in one way or the other contributed immensely to the total economic growth of the nation. These special people have built indomitable teams in several companies to stabilise finances flow and thereby affected the general business stance of these companies. We believe celebrating them will no doubt inspire them to achieve the more.”
He stated that, the CFO s who are responsible for the formulation of financial strategies and the coordination of plans, budgets should be adequately noticed but in most cases they are not, “CFO role has become important in navigating the future of both private and public sector companies”, he said.
According to him, the awards will also provide a platform for top CFOs, heads of finance, high-level executive, analysts, academics and experts in the business and financial sector to participate in discussions that will highlight underperformances in the sector and outline imminent procedure verdicts.
He noted that aside from celebrating the achievements of financial leaders, the occasion will also serve as an avenue for networking among chief financial officers and finance executives.
