LSADA repositions agriculture delivery system

The Lagos State Agricultural Development Authority, in collaboration with FADAMA III, will reposition the Agriculture delivery system for sustainable food security with the presentation of 10 motor bikes to officers for effective service delivery to farmers in the State.

Speaking at the occasion Mrs. Aramide Ganzalo, who represented the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture, Dr. Olayiwole Shakirudeen Onasanya implored Heads of Extension sub component in the 3 Senatorial Districts in the State to be more effective on the field and position themselves for right input packages for farmers.

She charged the officers to be closer to farmers and get involved in their activities when necessary so as to increase the percentage of food production and ensure food security for all.

While calling on intending farmers to take advantage of availability of land in the State by engaging in farming, Ganzalo enjoined officers to be more dedicated to duty and ensure proper usage of the motorcycles handed over to them in order to achieve objectives set by the Ministry.
