Nigeria Dream Team VI defeats Sweden to qualify for Rio quarter final

 
Nigeria Olympic football team, Dream Team VI defeated its Sweden counterpart by 1-0 in second group game.

Sadiq Umar put Nigeria under 23 team ahead Sweden in 40 minutes after several attempts by the team.

Sadiq lone goal secured Samson Siasia boys maximum points needed to qualify for the next group game.

The Dream Team VI had on Friday defeated Japan by 5-4 when Sadiq also open scoring in the first group game.

Winning against Sweden gives Nigeria team six maximum points to top group B and qualify for the quarter final despite having one game left.

The Dream Team is expected to play it last group game against Colombia on Wednesday.
