CBN licenses 11 new int’l money transfer operators

 
imageCentral Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has listened 11 new International Money Transfer Operators (IMTOs) to ease international money transfer services in Nigeria.

The name of the new IMTOs according to the statement signed by the CBN’s Acting Director, Corporate Communications, Isaac Okorafor are Trans-Fast Remittance LLC, Worldremit Limited, UAE Exchange Centre LLC, Wari Limited and Homesend S.C.R.L.

Others are; Small World Financial Services Group Limited, Weblink International Limited, Cashpot Limited, DT&T Corporation Limited, Fiem Group LLC DBA Ping Express and CP Express Limited.

The total number of international money transfer in Nigeria now stood at 14 as Western Union, MoneyGram and Ria already certified.

The CBN however reiterated its commitment to provide an enabling environment for international money transfer services in Nigeria.
