natnudO promises quality poultry foods, bags CICAN agric award

The natnudO foods Limited, a foremost animal protein foods processing company, has promised to be more committed to the Nigerian agricultural development in terms of quality poultry production for food security.

While receiving CICAN award as the Best Indigenous Poultry Production Company, the representative of the company, Ophylia Ibekwe, said the award was an encouragement for the company to do more for the country in term of agricultural development particularly livestock processing and poultry production.

She said she was very happy about the award which showed that the company’s activities across the country were been monitored especially by the media and the government.

Ibekwe said the company, which was known for its best in egg and frozen chicken production, has also engaged in youth empowerment programme through its entrepreneurial scheme tagged ‘natnuPreneur’.

“We will continue to improve on our offerings through continuous research and subscribing to global best practices in the food processing industry.

“Innovation is at the very core of what we do hence, our plan to introduce new product lines that will delight our customers and meet their needs for healthy protein food product.”

She said a few other animal protein varieties would soon be launched by the company.

Speaking on the Word Egg Day being celebrated on Friday, the Company Marketing Manager said the company is very particular about nutrition in respect to consumption of at least an egg a day, which is why natnudO Supper eggs are fortified with selenium good for overall well-being and human health.

She therefore advised that the growing children consume at least an egg a day as this aids smarter brain development in kids.

He also advised the government especially the Federal Government to make sure that eggs in school feeding programme continues, while appealing to the government to prioritize its supports for agricultural value chain so as to decrease unemployment and increase quality food production for the country.
