Promo: Dangote Cement presents cheques to four winners in Warri

…husband & wife win in Abuja

 

Dangote Cement at the weekend, kept its promise of immediate redemption of the star prizes in the ongoing spell as the four winners received alerts of N1 million each and a dummy cheque at the prize presentation event held in Warri, Delta State. In a related event, a husband and his wife are among the new entrants into the Dangote Cement Promo Millionaires Club. They won in the Abuja axis.

The four winners in the South South Region are Emmanuel Akpotor, Okpolero Daniel, Abada Uzuazor Evi and Mr. Moses Mogam.

One of the winners, Moses Mogam, a building contractor commended Dangote Cement for changing his life adding that this is the first time he is receiving such huge amount of money as a gift. He stated that from his childhood, he never received up to N10,000 (Ten Thousand Naira) as free gift but Dangote Cement has changed the situation and brought smile to his life. According to him, he used to walk on the road feeling like a dead man but joy and life had returned to his life following the redemption of the star-prize. He promised to continue to buy and use Dangote Cement.

Ms. Abada Uzuazor, another winner described the bag of goodies promo as real and trust worthy. Dangote Cement is a company you can trust and relay on to keep its promise. She plans to invest her prize to improve her business.

Speaking at the event, the Regional Director, South-South Dangote Cement PLC, Mr. George Okoro, noted that the promo is to reward Nigerians of their continuous patronage over the years which will run for sixteen (16) weeks producing nine millionaires daily across Nigeria.Mr. Okoro added that Dangote Cement PLC is well committed to uplifting and raising living standards of Nigerians as well as their financial stability.

The Dangote Regional Director disclosed that they apart from the one million naira given to winners they are ready to give out one billion naira to one thousand customers, noting that other prices to be won include refrigerators, tricycles, recharge cards and televisions.

Meanwhile, six star winners have emerged in the Abuja axis, with husband and a wife carting away two slots. Engr. Amos T. Fadare who won a million naira, described his winning as “a dream come through.”

“I have been using other cement brands for some time now, but because of the promo, I decided to buy trucks of Dangote cement before I luckily won. I want to thank Alhaji Aliko Dangote for given us this opportunity. I also want to urge Nigerians to buy Dangote Cement. This is real. My wife also won. I am a building engineer and my wife is a cement retailer,” Engr. Fadare said.  The wife, Ms. Duni Fadare described their winning as the act of God.

“I have been a distributor with Dangote Cement for about six years. I also mold blocks. I found some of the winning cards in my block industry. I found others through the reconstruction work we are doing at home. Last year I tried but I didn’t win but this year God has` decided to make it possible. I was discussing with someone earlier and I told him that this year I will win, and that God will make it possible. It’s like I saw it coming,” she said.

Another winner, Mallam Ali Babangida expressed joy that he won, describing it as one of his happiest moments in life. “I want to thank Alhaji Aliko Dangote whom I share the same name with. And most importantly, I want to thank Almighty Allah for making it possible. I am a builder. I use about a hundred bags of cement on daily basis. This is real. I am calling on Nigerians and my fellow builders to buy Dangote cement. It is a win-win. The same is qualitative and the promo is real,” he said.

Meanwhile, the ongoing bag of goodies season 2 promo will help the country cushion the effects of the economic strains brought about by the Coronavirus pandemic, cement consumers in northern states have said.

Cement end-users which include, block makers, artisans and distributors in Abuja and some northern states welcomed the new promo, describing the Dangote Cement as a brand of ‘integrity and trust.’

The ongoing season 2 promo, which started July 15 will run for 16 weeks, and 1,000 Nigerians are expected to win a star prize of one million naira each, among other prizes which include: tricycles, refrigerators, television sets, generators, Goodies packs, smaller monetary prizes and airtime.
