Ibadan soccer lords, Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC), were on Sunday at the New Jos Stadium, held to a 3-3 draw by host Plateau United

The NPFL Group A matchday one fixture saw the Oluyole Warriors’ put a good fight only to surrender a two goal lead to miss the chance of picking the maximum points.

The coach Gbenga Ogunbote tutored lads opened scoring as early as the sixth minute through Akpan Joshua but the lead only lasted for two minutes as the homers levelled up through Onyebuchi Ifeanyi.

Shooting Stars regained their lead in the 15th minute through Anthony Okachi and they held onto the lead till the end of the first half.

Substitute, Akintunde Azeez extended the visitors’ lead in the 65th minute to put his side on course for victory, but the host rallied back, scoring two goals withing eight minutes via Izuchukwu Chiemezie (72′ and Ifeanyi Emmanuel (80′) to end the tie 3-3.

The Oluyole Warriors will play host to Kwara United in a match day two midweek cracker billed for Thursday at the Lekan Salami Stadium.
